Founder, Blue Fantasy Studio

I design, build, ship and rundeploying production software, alone, using AI as my engineering team.

One person, end to end: design, code, deployment, billing, support, and the fixes. Products live in Nigeria. Clients in the US, the UK, Lithuania and Nigeria. The part most portfolios leave out is below: what broke, and how long it took me to notice.

Open to remote product engineering, forward-deployed and founding roles, and a limited number of client projects. Based in Lagos (UTC+1): a full working day of overlap with the UK, a few hours with US East.

What broke, and how long I took to notice.

Every item here comes from my own project records. The bar is the time a bug lived in production before I caught it. Select a marker to read the postmortem.

Not on the axis because I did not record the date: a nightly database backup that had been silently broken since setup, and two bugs in my meeting-minutes app. Both are written up below.

30 May to 20 Jul 2026ProjectLane · about 7 weeks undetected

Every signup skipped onboarding.

What
For about seven weeks, new signups on ProjectLane skipped onboarding.
Fix
Found, fixed and shipped on 20 July 2026, and confirmed two days later.
Found 20 Jul · cutoff 3 Aug 2026ProjectLane · billing

Paid plans never expired.

What
Plans did not auto-expire. Two real customers were 12 to 16 days overdue before I caught it.
Fix
I emailed both customers on 20 July, shipped a fix that blocks expired plans, and set a real cutoff for 3 August 2026.
Patched 21 Jul 2026Cold-outreach automation

The same email twice, and addresses that were not addresses.

What
A Windows console encoding crash stopped a batch before the sent flag was saved, so a prospect was emailed twice. Separately, a regex returned the bare ending "co.uk" instead of the full address. Later, a 1am job did not run because the laptop was on battery.
Fix
UTF-8 output, saves that retry when OneDrive locks the file, a regex that matches the whole address, task settings that allow battery, and a self-hosted search service when the free API tier ran out.
Completed 26 Jul 2026ProjectLane · both repos

I audited my own codebase and found about 155 problems.

What
A full-codebase audit across the frontend and backend, Critical down to Low, including bugs that masked financial figures.
Fix
All of them fixed.
29 Jul 2026ProjectLane · one day

Three regressions, root-caused and fixed the same day.

What
An onboarding redirect regression, a wrong brand colour across the whole app, and a storm of 401 errors on mobile.
Fix
I traced each one through the Railway logs and the database, fixed and pushed all three the same day.
Fixed 3 Aug 2026ProjectLane · recurring

"Clear your cache" was a stale service worker.

What
A recurring "clear your cache" problem kept coming back after releases.
Fix
Traced it to a stale service worker, fixed the root cause, and it went live on 3 August 2026.
Early Sep 2026Fantasy Music

Security and row-level-security audit before it grew.

What
A security and row-level-security audit of the WhatsApp song generator, completed in early September 2026.
Date not recordedProjectLane · infrastructure

The nightly backup had never worked.

What
The nightly database backup workflow had been silently broken since setup. Nothing alerted me.
Fix
The audit caught it. I fixed it and verified it.
Date not recordedBlue Fantasy Minutes

Two bugs in a meeting-minutes app.

What
The browser speech API silently does not work inside Electron. Separately, Whisper looped on its own prompt text for one noisy 15-minute chunk.
Fix
I replaced it with microphone capture plus Whisper, and retrying that chunk without the prompt fixed the loop.

Systems I run.

Built first for Nigerian users, which means designing for the hard parts from day one: WhatsApp as the interface, payments that actually clear, phones before laptops, and costs a small business can carry.

ProjectLane

Live · flagship

A multi-tenant project execution platform for construction SMEs in Nigeria: projects, tasks, vendors, vendor contracts and payments, a wallet, team roles including Quantity Surveyor and Bill of Quantities, Paystack billing, and an AI assistant inside the app. I also built a white-label version with its own branding and approvals for one client. It began on Base44, and I migrated it to my own stack without losing any user data: 37 businesses, 115 tasks, 86 vendor contracts and 118 vendor payments, with zero downtime.

Crisp

Live

A mobile-first order manager for small laundry and dry-cleaning shops: take orders by voice or by hand, track garments from received to collected, notify customers on WhatsApp, record payments, manage staff and branches. Sign in is phone number plus PIN, with no SMS code, because real SMS costs more than a small product can justify yet. Shops pay a monthly subscription through Paystack with a 14-day trial.

React + Vite + TypeScript PWA · Hono API · Supabase

Fantasy Music

Live

A WhatsApp-native AI song generator for Nigeria. Message a number describing a song in English, Pidgin or Yoruba. Claude writes original lyrics, a music engine produces the track, and you get the song and a shareable card back in the chat. First song free, then naira credits through Paystack. The edge is lyric quality in local languages, not the audio model, which is swappable.

Blue Fantasy Minutes

Internal tool

An Electron app that listens to a call, transcribes it with Whisper, and writes structured meeting minutes with Claude, then emails them. A "Series" feature lets recurring meetings remember earlier decisions and open action items. Not sold. It is here for the build story.

Ilé

Concept · demo live

A Nigerian property platform concept built around verified identities and escrow-protected payments: six role-based apps (renter, landlord, buyer, seller, realtor, agent) on one design system, with deliberately no build step. A demo with mock data, not a launched business.

Design and engineering, one head

I make the product, interface and architecture decisions, so nothing gets lost between a mock-up and a deploy.

AI as the engineering team

Claude Code writes much of the code. I own the direction, the review, and the result in production.

I show the failures

The record above is the point. A builder who finds, fixes and tells you is more useful than one who says it never breaks.

Say hello, plainly.

If you have a role, a product that needs taking to production, or a problem like the ones above, send a message. I reply fastest on WhatsApp.
